Hi, I'm Ross

I didn't start as a developer — I started as an SEO. Back in 2011, before plugins did everything for you, optimizing a WordPress site meant getting into the code. That's where it clicked for me. Over time, freelance Shopify projects pulled me deeper into frontend work, and eventually a friend nudged me to learn JavaScript properly and just start building. I haven't stopped since.

Today I work at the intersection of frontend development and SEO — two disciplines that reward the same obsession: making things fast, clean, and easy to use. My stack is TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui. I've shipped projects across different domains — from Channeld, a social platform built with React, to Smartercntrl, an IoT app that gave me a taste of how far frontend can reach when paired with the right backend.

When I'm not building, I'm on the pickleball court. Based in the Philippines, open to remote work.
